The Cowichan Valley Camera Club was formed in 1980 by a group of local amateur and professional photographers. The goal was to share their interests and knowledge of all things pertaining to photography. More than thirty years later the goal remains the same, and we still have founding members active and sharing knowledge with the other club members. In that time, the club has grown from a small group of 10 - 15 members to a current membership in excess of 100 active members.
We are members of the Cowichan Valley Arts Council
and the Canadian Association for Photographic Art.
The club meets in Duncan BC on Vancouver Island three times a month from September thru June. You are welcome to visit us at any time. Check the Calendar for details of the next scheduled meeting.
Club meetings are held at the Cowichan Valley Assoc. for Community Living Clements Centre, 5856 Clements Street, Duncan BC.
