Godfrey-Brownell Vineyards, Glenora

Walking Conditions: vineyard dirt, level and sloping ground, muddy if wet, fallow fields, creek down a 100' ravine.
Directions: From the Island Highway (#1) Turn on Trunk. Just after you cross the E&N railway line, take a slant right for a single block and you can turn left onto Allenby cross the bridge over the Cowichan River. At the four-way stop lean to the right onto Indian Road and you’ll see a sign for the three Glenora wineries. The village of Glenora is about 5 km up that road (two small stores and a community hall). There's a 4-way stop in Glenora and just beyond it, you'll see the vines of Vignetti Zanatta. Keep going straight (west), past Zanatta’s, and when you’re about 1 km. from Glenora turn left one more time into our driveway and drive through the forest. When you reach the deer gate and enter, you'll see the vineyards on the right. Head for the house and follow the signs for visitor parking.
