DIRECTIONS: From Duncan, drive south on the Trans-Canada Highway until you get to Cobble Hill Shawnigan Lake Rd. Turn right onto Cobble Hill/Shawnigan Lake Road and follow it all the way to Shawnigan Lake. Turn right onto Renfrew Road and follow the road past the end of the lake to Glen Eagles Road and turn right. There is a public parking area about 550 metres down the road on the right side.
Time: Those wishing to car pool meet at 0900 in the parking lot at the library or meet at the Kinsol Trestle Parking lot at 1000.
CAUTION: Path is gravel. This path is used by cyclists and equestrians.
FEATURES: The Kinsol Trestle is one of the tallest free-standing and most spectacular timber rail trestle structures in the world. At 187 metres in length and standing 44 metres above the salmon bearing Koksilah River, the Kinsol is an incredible structure.
